The German team Diamontech has developed a new technology that is able to read blood glucose levels with the help of infra red sensors. These are able to count the blood glucose molecules from under the skin layers. The innovative technology replaces the painful finger pricking method by just holding the finger above the sensor for a few seconds.

I worked along with their team to do the industrial design and the design for assembly for the enclosure. It was a complex and challenging design where I had to combine multiple parts, subassemblies, create moving parts, human factors, removable panels, also consider security and heat separation elements. I am honored to have worked on this medical device that will make a difference for the patients with diabetes.
